Description
Stunning and well preserved M40 pattern steel helmet by the firm Quist, first had a wire attached and was then camouflaged in tropical tan paint. The helmet shows light wear and shows a ghost of the army decal under the camo paint. Complete with original installed liner. The leather shows lots of wear but remains complete, size 56. The draw string is still present, as well is the full length chin strap. It shows a faded maker mark. The split pins are straight. The exterior camouflage paint shows normal wear. Maker marked shell by Q, size 64. Lot number: DN251. A very nice and clean, untouched M40 helmet.
