Description
Well worn early M18 helmet being reissued for the German army (Heer). Typical overpainted in apple green color. Early pattern Pocher-style decals remain present and show nice aging and patina. Original, but replaced, liner, having an early 1938 dated aluminum band. Genuine draw string remains present. Brass early rivets present. Shell markings hard to read due to the thickness of the paint. A very nice worn early transitional M1918 steel helmet for the German army!
