M35 Kriegsmarine reissue steel helmet in grey with KM marked chin strap – named ET62
€1,750.00
Description
Original Kriegsmarine helmet started as a double decal example in apple green color. Was reissued and/or camouflaged in grey during the war covering both decals. The KM shield was ‘liberated’ by a collector, showing the golden kriegsmarine eagle once again. Complete with original installed early aluminum liner. Interesting would be the chin strap, that still shows the Kriegsmarine acceptance stamp, combined with the maker mark and 1938 date stamp. I believe the strap alone is worth a small fortune today! The liner is complete and leather is in good condition. It is named to Artur Mecklenburg 5659/41/KS which would be a KM.
This came from the pristine Belgian collection of Ivan Becque, more known online as ‘Langemarck’, lifetime member and ex-moderator of German Helmet Walhalla, Wehrmacht Awards Forums and Lowlands Militaria Forum. Ivan stopped collecting Third Reich helmets a while ago and we were lucky to already sold much of his collection. We are now offering his last, best, rare items and headgear he kept until the end. He is now focussed on WW1 German steel helmets and Belgian headgear from both wars. Most of these items were already discussed and/or published in different textbooks, forums and online blogs such as germanhelmetvault.com

WW2 British MK III ‘Turtle’ combat helmet 1943
€30.00Add to cartDescription Late war third pattern ‘MKIII’ British steel helmet, so called ‘Turtle’ helmet because of its shape. All parts remain in good condition and is complete with liner. Liner shows very poor markings but I believe I can read the date 1943. Comes with the genuine chin strap attached.
