Description

Very nice and original early M35 SS helmet. The helmet looks to have been reissued at some point, having had two sets of SS decals on each side first, a so called double runic helmet! The helmet now has a set of Pocher pattern decals on both sides of the helmet. Under the swastika decal, another SS decal is visible! The helmet is complete with its original 1938 dated liner. The liner had some repaired tongues and the draw string is a war time replacement. Complete with original chin strap, also shows a repair. Maker marked on the tip ‘bdr 41’. Split pins show nice oxidation and remain untouched. Helmet covered in glossy pea-green finish, shows some rust damage on the left side. Shell lot number 333, a know SS lot in the database of Brian Ice! A stunning SS double decal helmet, so hard to find nowadays! Shell markings Q62 – 333.
