Description
Genuine M40 Luftwaffe helmet, started as a single decal example. Untouched example, straight from the attic in Germany! The helmet had a ‘subtle’ camouflage job, by applying rough sand mixed grey/blue paint on top of the glossy early 40-pattern paint, covering the decal. The decal is still ghosting under the paint and remains visible for the trained eye. Helmet is complete with original installed liner, split pins are unmessed with. Leather is in excellent, light worn condition, remains strong and soft. Draw string present. Shell marked SE66 – 5040. Honest camo helmet!
