Description

Extremely rare NSDAP guard helmet. Reissued Luftschutz/civil M34 type steel helmet, having the classic civil liner and chin strap. The helmet is spray painted in NSDAP brown color and received a set of decals on each side. Do not confuse the eagle decal with a police one, because this is a genuine NSDAP decal. The decal had an application error in the time and was folded a bit. There is only one other example known in the world like this today – extremely rare helmet!

This came from the pristine Belgian collection of Ivan Becque, more known online as ‘Langemarck’, lifetime member and ex-moderator of German Helmet Walhalla, Wehrmacht Awards Forums and Lowlands Militaria Forum. Ivan stopped collecting Third Reich helmets a while ago and we were lucky to already sold much of his collection. We are now offering his last, best, rare items and headgear he kept until the end. He is now focussed on WW1 German steel helmets and Belgian headgear from both wars.
