Description
A very rare and seldom encountered M42 RAD helmet. These helmets always were reissued out of army helmets, sometimes the decal was placed on top of the army decal, in this case the RAD shield was applied on the other side, making it a double decal helmet! The shield shows normal wear and scratches and remains present for over 95{a52560972f1953da7ff751a390e034482bc0fffc7709a17c21112ddb4e063ced}. The helmet is complete an original liner, dated 1940. Splitpins were possible tampered with at one point but are original to the helmet. Complete with a draw string and chin strap. The shell is maker marked by ET and size marked 66. Lot number in the rear 1642. A very rare RAD helmet!
