Description
Light worn mid-war produced army officer mountain cap in good condition. Factory applied T-shape flatwire M38 pattern eagle on the front of the cap. Interior made out of high quality silk, with leather sweat band, size +-56. Shows light wear and remains in overall very good condition. Small moth damage on the back, please see close ups. Silver buttons up front indicating this is a cap for an officer. The silver tresse for officers was only applied after 1942 on mountain caps, giving us an idea about the manufacturer date from this cap in my opinion 1942-43. A honest and desirable cap!
