Description
Early war made first pattern Luftwaffe field cap, often referred to as a Luftwaffe mountain cap or Bergmütze because its similar look to the army ones. Light worn cap, complete with its period applied national insignia up front. Grey silk interior shows medium use and sweat staining. Markings are faded. Ca. 1941 construction. Size +-56. A very rare and desirable hat!
