Description
Beautiful M35 Luftwaffe helmet. Started as a double decal example that was firstly overpainted in grey/blue and afterwards camouflaged with spray paint in tan and grass green colors, covering both decals. Complete with original liner in worn condition, dated 1940. The rim of the liner still shows traces of the first grey/blue overpaint. Leather remains strong but shows lots of wear. Early chin strap with aluminum buckle remains present, tip broken off. Named in the rear to an Obergefreiter. Shell markings ET62 – 4725.
