Description
Rarely encountered M40 pattern navy steel helmet. Kriegsmarine example with a textbook Huber Jordan u. Koerner (aka Thin winged decal) decal on the left side, in gold color, showing normal wear and clearly shows a ‘rim’ as it should be. The exterior paint shows light wear and so does the liner. The leather remains complete but shows a few cracks and small damages. Size stamped 56. Draw string and chin strap are post-war replacements, but suit the helmet well . The split pins remain straight and untouched. Maker marked shell by EF size 64, lot number 22454. A beautiful 100{a52560972f1953da7ff751a390e034482bc0fffc7709a17c21112ddb4e063ced} original and rare Kriegsmarine helmet in good condition!
