Description
Very nice unworn and MINT beaded M40 helmet with a rim (‘Beaded’) for a member of the German air-raid protection (Luftschutz). The helmet still retains a nearly complete decal up front, that shows nice details and patina. It also shows a typical application error from the factory. The helmet is complete with its liner, draw string and full length chin strap. Maker marked on the side by Quist, size 68 (Q68), a very large size and rarely seen with LS helmets. Lot number 31457. The helmet was in my opinion never issued. A beautiful untouched LS helmet!
