Description
Very nice and seldom seen M43 black Panzer cap. Complete with its (restored) machine applied trapezoid national eagle insignia up front. The cap shows minimal wear. Front visor has a short mountain cap-style brim, by the looks of it factory made like this. Silk lining is complete and beautiful. Funny detail, the liner was put in the cap inside out, showing the maker mark ‘bleeding’ through the silk material in mirror image. Shows a RBNr. code, dated 1943 and size marked 57. These caps are highly sought after and almost never offered for sale. A genuine unquestionable example in very good condition!
