Description
Currently the only known unapplied decal in the world from a NSDAP guard helmet. This particular example was published in The Helmet Decals of the Third Reich book by Ken Niewiarowicz. The decal remains in very good condition as you can see on the pictures.
This came from the pristine Belgian collection of Ivan Becque, more known online as ‘Langemarck’, lifetime member and ex-moderator of German Helmet Walhalla, Wehrmacht Awards Forums and Lowlands Militaria Forum. Ivan stopped collecting Third Reich helmets a while ago and we were lucky to already sold much of his collection. We are now offering his last, best, rare items and headgear he kept until the end. He is now focussed on WW1 German steel helmets and Belgian headgear from both wars. Most of these items were already discussed and/or published in different textbooks, forums and online blogs such as germanhelmetvault.com
