Description
Here we have a unique and very well preserved WW1 German M1916 steel helmet. Helmet was period covered in what collectors call ‘Summer offensive 1918 Verdun-pattern’ camouflage. Camouflage shows nice ageing and patina. Interior untouched, still dirty and uncleaned. Leather pads are partially intact and feel stiff and not supple anymore. Maker marked shell E.T.66. One of the better WW1 camouflage helmets I recently had to offer.
